Learn More About the Routes

In the Footsteps of Bernard Hinault

As patron of this inaugural edition, Bernard Hinault lends his support to an event that is deeply connected to his own cycling legacy. It was on the legendary Côte de Domancy that he claimed the 1980 UCI Road World Championship title, establishing Sallanches as one of the world's iconic cycling destinations.

One year before the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc, participants will have the unique opportunity to ride the very roads that will soon welcome the world's best cyclists.

A Legacy of the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships

The Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc Classic – Bernard Hinault Experience forms part of the legacy of the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc. Created with the ambition of becoming a permanent fixture on the cycling calendar, it is one of the first sporting legacies of the Championships and aims to become a must-attend event for mountain cycling enthusiasts.
