An Exceptional Destination for the Greatest Cycling Event in History

A land of legendary races and world-class sporting events, Haute-Savoie has thrilled cycling fans for decades. From the iconic climbs of the Tour de France to the UCI Road World Championships in Sallanches (1964 and 1980), and the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Les Gets (2004 and 2022), the region has established itself as one of the world's premier cycling destinations.

From 24 August to 5 September 2027, Haute-Savoie will write a new chapter in its cycling history by hosting the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc. While the track cycling events will take place at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Velodrome, Haute-Savoie will be at the heart of the Championships, hosting 19 UCI World Championships across 14 competition venues, set among lakes, mountains, valleys and picturesque villages.

More than a sporting event, the Championships will celebrate the full diversity of cycling while creating a lasting legacy for the region, supporting the development of cycling in all its forms and strengthening Haute-Savoie's international profile.
